GO! Training

Dave Mable has been an athlete for longer than he can remember! His passion for playing is as strong as his passion for teaching and encouraging. Dave's desire is to help you grow as an athlete and help you accomplish that which you may have never thought possible! He is here to help you improve your cycling, run farther and faster, swim better and more efficiently. Whatever your athletic goals and dreams, Dave would love to help you.

This winter is a great time to evaluate your past season and prepare for your next. We can do video analysis to dissect where technique could be fine-tuned. This can be on the bike, run or swim. Slap a power meter on your bike to perform a baseline for winter training. Dave will review, with you, your prior experiences, and fine-tune a plan with your goals in mind.

This is a perfect time of year to spend a few sessions with us to refine your stroke or cycling technique. Two or three sessions with a trainer will be just the right amount of time to make any corrections and reinforce proper technique, again, in the pool, on the bike or running.

If you want to go deeper, we can work with the doctors at Des Moines University to complete a VO2 Max test and a resting metabolic rate test at a reasonable cost. This can be valuable information in designing your training plan.

Call or email Dave to answer your questions or to set up your first appointment.
